Good, bag broken, one towel dirty  It’s a cheap set, but the presentation in pretty poor. I got a broken plastic bag with one of the sets, and, consequently one of the towels was dirty. But I couldn’t be bothered to return the whole package just for that. Good value, now I have to see how they work after several washings…. Great Towels, Great Price, Great Value BUT OUT OF STOCK NOW??? We are currently living in temporary housing due to a family situation (elderly relative who needs our current assistance) and without all the “comforts of home” (specifically, I have a washer here but no dryer), so I was a little concerned about “line-drying” these. Because of their thickness, they did take longer to dry than regular towels HOWEVER my husband and I were ASTONISHED that there was not even ONE BIT OF STIFFNESS to them after line-drying!!! They were just as soft (or softer even!!) than any of our other towels after being dried in a dryer!!! They were soft and fluffy and absolutely luxurious!!! I did wash them on a slower wash cycle in warm water, double-rinsed in cold (and double-spun) and used NO fabric softener (as recommended), however lint has not been a problem (which I thought it might because I was not using a dryer) and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!! I did knock Amazon down a star because of AVAILABILITY. I have been checking for a few weeks now and they are out of stock of the colors I ordered before (and want to re-order) and other colors I would also like to have. I have not tried the darker colors, although they do look tempting, so I may try those in the future at some point. The lighter colors however, I would not hesitate to give as gifts to family and friends, they are absolutely splendid (although I may pre-wash before gifting due to the “new smell” which is unpleasant) and I know it will seem as if we spent a small fortune on them. I am concerned about future stocks however as these are made in Pakistan (and there is political un-rest there), which I do not mind as it is a “legitimate” enterprise (rather than poppy-growing or arms dealing or terrorism), so would seem to help a third world economy as well. … bath towels Low Heat!? |

Towel set
These towels are good towels. Nice and thick. The band didn’t shrink and twist. Though the color wasn NOT brick, it was a beautiful shade of garnet red. Just the perfect Christmas towels I was looking for.
Thick and absorbent
These towels were very thick, soft and plush. The color was exactly as the picture on my computer screen. However, when they get wet they become very heavy. A third of one side of one towel was frayed, but it was repaired and kept. Be prepared to need lots of drying time after washing.
very pleased
I am very pleased with my latest purchase of the Egyptian Cotton Towel Set from Amazon. It is very large and a beautiful color. Absorbent too.
