“Loved it!” I have to admit I have not been a huge fan of Lisa Kleypas in the past, her works are not among my ‘must read’ authors, but she surprised me with this book. I found her stories, in the past, to be a bit humdrum. Not boring but not really exciting either. But I had trouble putting Scandal in Spring down to do anything else. I wanted to keep reading to find out what would happen next. The characters were wonderful, the dialogue good and it was truly a heartwarming love story. I have not read the other ‘wallflower’ books because I didn’t know anything about the series when I bought this book. I had seen them on the shelf at the bookstore when they came out but passed them over for other books instead. I will, now, find the other books and read them too. And maybe catch up on some of her other books I’ve missed. All in all, a really good read and I’m looking forward to reading the other 3.

What a ending to a great series !
Scandal in Spring by Lisa Kleypas is excellent novel. This novel gave me every emotion but I was sad to see the series end. Four young ladies enter London society with one common goal: they must use their feminine wit and wiles to find a husband. Therefore, a daring husband-hunting scheme is born. This is the story of Daisy who is daughter of wealthy american who is given two months to find a husband or she must marry his american employ Matthew Swift. The Wallflower Quartet Series; Secrets of a Summer Night, It Happened One Autumn, The Devil In Winter and Scandal in Spring –I love this series buy them all and enjoy! Wallflowers Series is a Hit!
Kleypas brilliantly wrote her Wallflower Series. Each character has a different personality, and different challenges to overcome. The faboulous part is how she picks up at the very next page with the books. For example, Devil in Winter starts at the EXACT page Autumn ended at.

Wonderful. I recommend this to anyone looking to curl up with a good book. …more info

Lisa Kleypas is the best hands down.
I will instantaneously buy anything with Lisa Kleypas’s name on the cover without having to even glance over the contents. This book was no exception. I was excited for this final chapter of the wallflower series (of four starting with secrets of a summer night). Though in truth Daisy’s story was probably the weakest of the series, it still deserves five stars when compared with other books in this genre. The only complaint I had was I felt that the hero’s personality wasn’t as fully developed as it could be. If you are a Lisa Kleypas fan (and you should be if you aren’t) then buy this book and you’ll be satisfied….more info
