Great Wedding or Christmas Gift ![]() I found this little book place by my bed. It looked so much like the “Power of the Praying Wife”…it just couldn’t be for me. When I opened my wife had a note.”I love you if you read it.”It was great..As a newlywed it had a lot of points that I knew about but had been praying about..it was like having confirmation. The best wedding or Christmas gift one could give to a new couple or couple who value their relationship. Great book…. Great gift to all husbands out there Since I intend to give these copies for Christmas, I have to keep in a safe place where my husband will not accidentally see. I manage to read it once in a while in his absence & as a wife, I think I will benefit from this if he reads it. The question though is if he really will…. poorly written From the very beginning of the book, quite frankly, it irritated me – mainly, because it feels forced, as if it was written solely to make money from the success of the previous book for women. Stormie clearly does not write this book from a man’s perspective. Example from the book: “Now you may be thinking about a song from My Fair Lady called ‘Why Can’t a Woman Be More Like a Man?’ In fact, you may even be singing it to yourself at this very moment.” You’ve got to be kidding! I know theatre better than most men, and I’ll tell you – I wasn’t thinking of this song, and I sure wasn’t singing it! Clearly, Stormie is used to writing to women and either should continue to focus on books for women or should get some serious help from male publishers. Which takes me to another point… I found it tasteless how Stormie blasts her husband in the prologue. It’s obvious when reading the book that she pretty much forced him to take part in this book. In summary: A Must for Men! This book has Enriched Mt Life! |
