Very Stable DVDRs. Accucore makes a big difference.  My DVD+Rs were Sony before they started doing accucore, and they were mediocre at best. After trying a few others with better success, these were on sale for cheap and I thought, it can’t hurt for [...] bucks. They worked beautifully. All of the previous problems were gone. They are stable, play on even my old dvd player from 2003, and an almost negligible error rate (like maybe five discs, mostly from poor burning software and corrupted files) after burning around 200 of them. i also recommend DVD+R over DVD-R because i find them more compatible in general, but maybe its just me…. terrible, terrible dvds Excellent DVD Blanks |

Name Brand Yields Good Results
I have a SONY DVD R/W burner (IDE\SONY DVD RW DW-G120A) in my Windows XP SP3 PC. I found out early that the type of media that this is certified to work with is a short list (I’m not happy about that!) Obviously, Sony branded DVD media was in the list to use with this burner. I’ve been using Sony DPR-47/50 Write-once DVD+R Disc – Spindles for a few years, and with very good results (I also use their Sony 50PK DVD-R 4.7GB 16X-SPINDLE media and have the same good results with those). I’ve made a few hundred video programs on these that I’ve distributed to others and the rate of complains coming back is low (“it wouldn’t play in my DVD player” is rare). Some people have told me if there is a problem with them playing in the DVD Players that are attached to their TV systems, when they have tried them in their PCs they do work. I’m not sure that there is a 100% solution for this, for one retail home product that will work in all players, but these Sony Branded ones come close.
