“They could make it better” I had to modify mine to hook/hold my foot better. I’m 5′8″ maybe for those taller people it’s not a problem.

does what it is supposed to ![]() Works just fine for me; no problems with the fold up feature as others have had. It is a simple concept that works. Some assembly was required–just attach the bar to the bracket with a screwdriver and wrench and pliers. I even did it with just my fingers, though it could be tightened a bit. Do your sit ups and then fold it up agains the door and you’re good to go. Recommended…. nice and safe sit-up bar After reading many reviews of this sit-up bar and other similar products, I finally placed the order of this one. It took me just a couple of minutes to install it under a closet door. Since there are soft pads on both sides of the door, there will be no damage on the door paint. I can put the back of my bare feet behind the foam wrapped bar to do the sit-up easily and comfortably. In addition, since it is foldable against the door, it will not trip anybody in the room, which is really a very nice and safe feature. A lot of sit-up bars on the market do not have this feature. If you think the bar is not tight enough to be in the right folding position, you can tighten the bolt of the bar to avoid its loose away from the door. Note, you also need to make sure the bar be installed in a way that when you use it, the bar should pull the door to the closed direction. This way the pull force will be applied to the door frame, otherwise, the force will be applied to the door latch, which is no good…. cheap top-notch fitness |

Great product!
Fits securely on the door frame without damaging. Can leave it on the most visible door and it could go unnoticed. You have the ability to lift the bar up flush against the door. Very sturdy… great buy for the buck!
Works Great!
Great product for the price. It works just as advertised and has given me much agony (is that a good thing?). The only thing I would change is the three inches of adjustment screw that protrude from the back of the door. Unless this was designed to be used on a ricepaper door, the adjustment rod is simply too long. However, this is certainly not a significant issue. Great product!
Not for those with small feet
My wife bought this and when it arrived she discovered that someone with “small” (women’s size 9) feet simply can’t get the required leverage for the bar to be effective. The bar is too far away from the door and her feet just float around. It didn’t come with any assembly instructions but since there are only two pieces I’m pretty sure we put it together correctly. Nice concept but we’ll be returning it.
