“Plastic wristband is a pain” Nice looking watch…in fact very cool. However, the plastic strap gave my husband a burn on his wrist from the friction. He’s pretty active, so for others looking for a casual watch to wear on the run, be aware particularly if you have sensitive skin.

Good watch but the some design flaws
I primarily bought the watch because I liked the black dial and the compass functionality. It certainly delivers in these areas but there are a couple of things where is falls short of expectations.

First the good stuff – it looks good (if you did not like the looks you wouldn’t be reading this) and the compass works pretty well (calibration is easy too).

I’ve never used the tide indicator but I read that it requires regular adjustments so I think that’s a slight negative as well.

Now to the bad stuff – The temperature reading is totally useless while wearing the watch. I don’t know where they put the sensor but it looks like its almost in contact with the skin. You have to unstrap the watch and wait for a few minutes to get a temperature reading.

Secondly the crown/buttons on the right side of the watch are very low and they will dig into the back of your hand when you bend it backward.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that I knew about the shortcomings of the temperature indicator before buying this watch so I am not factoring that in this rating….more info

Perfect watch for hiking and fishing fans!
This must be the greatest product of the year and at a very reasonable price to beat.

The tide, temp and compass feature works perfectly, provided you follow the instruction and calibrate, especially for the tide and compass feature.

The watch looks great on the wrist and it is very intuitive in the usage. Even you do not need the features, the look itself deserves the price tag.

Greatly recommended for adventurous people.
